Framework for Teaching – Evaluator

Development of appraisal systems and growth plans that cultivate and document a administrator’s ability to lead is a CEC priority.

CEC works with member districts in the development of aligned leadership processes, focusing upon principal hiring practices, principal induction, principal appraisal, leadership coaching, and professional development.

In these efforts, CEC is focused upon the development of a building leader’s behaviors and responsibilities in accordance with standards developed by the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC). The ISLLC standards cover:

  • Visionary, mission-driven leadership.
  • Instructional facilitation of student and staff continuous learning improvement.
  • Effective and efficient management of learning environment.
  • Common support linkages between school and community.
