Access to Nationally Recognized Educational Consultants and Resources

  • CEC member districts have access to CEC’s partners and consultants, such as Dr. W. Patrick Dolan and Associates, The New Teacher Center and the Danielson Group, as well as many others, to augment CEC’s programs and services

Discounted Fees for CEC Member Districts

  • CEC services are discounted for CEC member districts
  • Non-member districts are assessed higher fees for CEC’s consultation and training services
  • Services generally cost approximately 20-25% more for non-member districts

Advocacy and Communication

  • CEC is able to advocate for its member districts and communicate their school improvement efforts and needs with local, state and national policymakers and agencies
  • CEC has numerous opportunities to inform other entities of the continuous improvement efforts that are planned, supported and implemented throughout the state due to the engagement of its member districts and participation in CEC’s programs and activities

Networking & Collaboration Opportunities

  • CEC continuously seeks out opportunities for its member districts to network and collaborate with other CEC member districts and our CEC partners
  • CEC pursues opportunities for collaboration through grant proposals, learning visits and access to state and national resources – i.e. conferences, institutes, foundations, and research
  • CEC seeks opportunities for connecting with organizations and agencies that inform state and national educational policies and programs
  • CEC’s member districts provide important educator input into these state and national conversations and discussions

A Systems Approach to Continuous Improvement

  • CEC’s programs and services are designed to assist schools, districts, unions and board members to build capacity within the system for continuous improvement in student achievement
  • CEC is able to provide specific supports for each of the key “anchors” of the school district:  the board of education, the district administration and the teachers’ union – so that each can provide sound, effective leadership in improving student outcomes in their community in a systematic manner

Targeted Input into CEC Programs & Services

  • CEC works closely with CEC member districts to gather input about their specific needs
  • CEC uses that data to plan and organize CEC events and activities in ways that will best meet our member’s needs 
  • CEC customizes all trainings so they are district-specific
